Throughout this course, you will learn: how to create beautiful Hollywood waves, elegant bridal hairstyles, timeless updos, half-up, half-down looks, special event hairstyles, working with different lengths, layers, and textures, proper sectioning and styling techniques, selecting the right products and tools for each hairstyle, professional finishing tips for long-lasting results, and the confidence to recreate every style you learn.

If you are planning to work on a model during the class, you will need the following:

  • Live model or mannequin head with a minimum of 20 inches of hair length (mannequin for sale at studio, pick up in Downey)
  • A 1-inch curling iron
  • Heat protectant (BTZ)
  • Teasing comb/s (single row)
  • About 100 duckbill clips
  • Got2b wax spray
  • 3/4 hair curler
  • Hair serum / Polish
  • Hair crimper 
  • Hair clips
  • Extra hold hairspray
  • U-pins (3inch)
  • Bobby Pins (2-3 inches)
  • Paddle brush 
  • Metal Sticks (If local you may pick up in studio)
  • Hair wax stick
  • large rubber bands 
  • small Rubberbands 
  • Heat mat
